Plot summary
A plane, carrying Tintin, a young journalist from Brussels, Captain
Haddock, a sea captain and Tintin's dog Snowy, is hit by lightning and crash
lands in a desert, knocking Tintin, Snowy and Haddock unconscious.
The previous day, Tintin and Snowy were looking around a
market. Tintin purchases a model ship, which another man tries to purchase from
him, but fails. The man who sold it to him brings him to a friend of his who is
a ship expert, who tells Tintin that the ship is called "The Unicorn",
a triple masted, double-decked ship with fifty guns, and that it belonged to
Sir Francis Haddock. The ship expert gives Tintin a book. Tintin learns that the
ship (which was a part of Charles II's fleet) was on its way from Barbados to Europe
when it was attacked by Red Rackham and his men, so Sir Francis blew his ship
up and fled. Tintin then takes it to a back alley to examine it. He finds a
scroll hidden in it, containing a strange poem about three ships. Suddenly, he
is attacked by some men, who steal his ship. Tintin gives the scroll to Snowy. Snowy
sniffs one of the men's hats, and leads Tintin to Marlinspike Hall. There, he
meets the man who had attempted to get the boat in the market, one of the Bird
Brothers. The Bird brothers chase after Tintin, attempting to get the scroll, but
they are knocked unconscious by a man named Allan and his men. Allan knock
Tintin unconscious as well.
Tintin then wakes up on a ship called the Karaboudjan, but
is freed by Snowy who returns the scroll to Tintin. Realising that Allan has
stolen the Bird Brothers' scroll, Tintin goes to find him. Tintin inadvertently
climbs into the cabin of a man. Tintin realises that he was the original
captain of the ship. The man gives Tintin directions on how to find Allan, telling
him to go to the bridge. Tintin does so, and confronts Allan there. Allan
reveals that the man is a Haddock and is the ancestor of Sir Francis Haddock. Tintin
and Allan then fight with banana peels and fireworks. Tintin manages to win the
fight and gets the scroll Allan stole from his wallet, as well as a picture of
him. Tintin and Snowy rush back to the Captain Haddock's cabin and shows
Haddock the scroll, asking Haddock to tell him more about Sir Francis Haddock. Haddock
agrees and tells him more about Sir Francis Haddock's story.
The Unicorn was an enormous galleon that transported goods
from various places to Europe . On the trip in
which it was attacked by Red Rackham, it was carrying thousand and thousands of
gold, coins, diamonds and other precious treasures. Red Rackham and his men had
attacked the Unicorn because they wanted the treasures on the Unicorn.
As Haddock re-enacts the sword fights Sir Francis Haddock
had gone through during the attack, he destroys some electric cables, setting
fire to the room they're in, which is located in the lower part of the ship, thereby
causing the ship to sink. Tintin and Snowy manage to escape and climb onto an
escape-seaplane which fell from the ship onto the sea. Haddock also survives
and climbs aboard the plane too, regretting his actions and repeating of his
ancestor's mistakes, telling Tintin how Sir Francis Haddock blew up the ship
and escaped in a boat, sacrificing his crew. The rest of the crew also survives.
They board the plane and escape.
The game then picks up where the first scene left off, as
Tintin, Haddock and Snowy wake up in the desert at the scene of the plane crash.
Two men approach them in a motorcycle with a side car. They are revealed to be
Allan's men, and plan to bring them back to the fictional city of Baghar to meet with Allan's
"boss". However, Haddock knocks them unconscious and he, Tintin and
Snowy steal their motorcycle and head to Baghar to continue their quest to stop
Allan. In Bagghar, the two begin asking people, until they find out that Omar Ben
Salaad has the third Unicorn. After getting in to Ben Salaad's palace, they meet
Bianca Castafiore, who is staging a concert on the palace. Tintin later fight
Salaad's henchmens after it ben revealed that Salaad wants to take the third
scroll and the one known as Allan's "boss". After a fight with Allan,Tintin
later get the third scroll and take off to Brittany ,Sir Francis Haddock's hideout. Learning
that in the scroll is written the coordinates of the treasure of Red Rackham,Tintin
and Haddock planning to go to the coordinated location, but Haddock is kidnapped
by Allan and use him as hostage to get the scrolls. After rescuing the Captain,Tintin
finds out that the treasure is in Marlinspike Hall. There they get the treasure
and the Thompsons came to arrests Allan and his friends.
Android and IOS version
Tintin, a young journalist, purchases a model ship from a
stall. Another man comes and attempts to buy the ship from Tintin, but fails. The
stall owner tells Tintin the man's name is Sakharine, and that he has come to
market for a few weeks to buy antiquities. Tintin also meets Thompson and
Thomson, who are trying to catch a pick-pocket. Tintin's model ship is stolen
from him shortly afterwards. Tintin and his dog Snowy decide to go to Sakharine's
home, Marlinspike Hall, to investigate. Tintin finds his stolen model ship, but
realises that it's different from his. On the way home, Tintin is kidnapped and
taken aboard the Karaboudjan, a steam ship heading for the fictional Baghar, a
city located in North Africa . Tintin escapes
from his cell and tries to escape the boat. On the way he meets Captain Haddock,
the original captain of the ship, who had been imprisoned by Sakharine in his
cabin. Sakharine had taken over the ship and bribed Haddock's crew into working
with him. Haddock helps Tintin and Snowy escape, but as they are at sea in a
life boat, they are attacked by a sea-plane sent by Sakharine, but Tintin is
able to damage the plane. Tintin and Haddock hold the pilot captive and fly
away, but crash-land in the desert after the plane is struck by lightning. Snowy
finds a map and some water for Haddock and Tintin so that they can continue
their journey. As they walk, Haddock tells Tintin about his ancestor Sir
Francis Haddock, who been the captain of the Unicorn, but had been attacked by
Red Racham, who wanted Haddock's treasure. Haddock decided to blow up the ship
and escaped in a life-boat. Before he could do so, Red Rackham and they fought
with their swords. Francis won the fight and blew up the ship and escaped in a
life boat.
Tintin and Haddock eventually fall unconscious because of
lack of water and the heat. Tintin wakes up to find himself in Fort Salaad ,
an outpost a few days away from Baghar. There he meets Liteunant Hank Morris, who
tells Tintin that Haddock, who had been angry and violent, is currently in the
barracks unconscious. Tintin asks Hank permission to use the telegraph, but
Hank tells him that the forts radio is broken and instructs him how to fix the
radio antennas. Tintin does so and sends a message before joing some soldiers
on a caravan to Baghar with Haddock and Snowy.
There, Sakharine has joined an opera held by a rich man
named Ben Salaad who has the third miniature ship, which is hidden in his opera
house. The Thom(p)sons prepare the arrest outside the opera house while Tintin
and Haddock sneak into it. Tintin makes it to the walkways under ceiling and
finds that one of Haddock's old crewmen have gotten the miniature ship. Haddock
screws the plan up after revealing himself to Sakharine and challenging him to
a fight. As they fight across the stage, Tintin defeats Allan an his crew, and
jumps off the walkway down onto the stage to help Haddock, and luckily survives
after landing on a prop. Snowy pursues Sakharine's pet crow and holds on to its
feet, getting the miniature ship in the process. Snowy accidentally lets go of
the crow, the ship and Snowy falling to the stage. Tintin catches Snowy but the
miniature ship falls in front of Sakharine. Before opening it, Sakharine
attempts to kill Tintin, but Haddock hits him hardly in the head, knocking him
unconscious. Tintin, Haddock Snowy all receive strong applause from the
audience.
After hearing Tintin, Haddock and Snowy's story, Salaad
gives them the ship and the scroll, telling them that they can take it with
them to find the treasure, giving Tintin and Haddock an excuse for another
adventure.
